This holster is specially designed to carry where you can't see it. Most purse holsters leave the butt of the gun exposed. This holster uses a retainer to hold the gun in place when the leather case is closed. This keeps the thickness uniform, ensuring that the gun will not round. The right model is designed to be carried in your left back pocket. To draw it, take the holster out of your pocket with your left hand while holding the shutter, open the shutter, and rotate the gun in your right hand. It's not as fast as a purse holster that you can grab directly, but you can't use the holster if you're worried about the weapon getting caught. A purse holster that holds the gun inside and shoots as a unit is a good choice for many people, but one that also leaves the butt exposed. They are not valid in every state. To be sure, they're not the best choice if your main concern is armed robbery, because you need a holster that you can grab right away. This holster is intended for use where complete concealment is a priority This will ensure that your right to protection should not be respected in case something bad happens to you. Since you have to remove your gun from the holster to shoot, it doesn't come with any of the legal baggage that a single unit gun/holster combo can have, no matter what situation you're in.
Please note: The holder does not fix the gun in place. The gun "rests" in the holster and is only secured when the cap is tightly closed. This is to allow the shutter to open and the gun to be "flipped" to the firing hand quickly. The leather was stiffened for durability so the holster wouldn't fold in the hand causing the gun to be lost and require a rest period. If you find these things aren't working for you, the holster can be returned, but don't label the cause as defective unless there really is a defect, which is how scabbards work.

The shell is very hard but well shaped for the weapon and the rest time is not long. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a non-traditional deep concealment holster that doesn't have the traditional "print". Got this for my Rowdy 410/45LC... perfect fit and great for hiding pockets. I have attached some rosewood handles. The claw extends beyond the skin, but less than an inch. Not enough to affect overall concealment. Highly recommended!
